One day, I will travel the world. In the meantime, I will look for a compass.

Can I just say this whole normalgirl/snowflake and othergirls/creamsicle thing is the single most Tumblr thing Tumblr, as a collective, has ever done? Seriously. You guys took a stupid special snowflake post and made into the “OTP” (as you kids say) of the year. Thank you Tumblr. Stay… whatever it is you are… not classy, certainly, but something.
Like, this would never have happened on any other website. On Reddit people would have just upvoted it to the front page while all the comments tore it apart and complained about Ron Paul and trees. On Facebook it would have been shared among all the 13 year olds blogs. On 9Gag it would have been the same as Reddit but 9 hours later. On DA it would be faved by a few people with galleries of furry bondage and then forgotten about.
But not Tumblr. Tumblr saw this and almost dismissed it, but instead said “NO! WAIT! WE CAN SHIP THIS! We can build the greatest ship that can sails across the seas of Tumblr from Badwolf Bay to the cliffs of insanity and carrying on until it reaches the wayward sun”. And you banded together and you did it Tumblr.
You did it.
Give yourself a pat on the back… and then ship your hand and your back.
I’m so impressed by Tumblr. Since I joined Tumblr only a few months ago, I feel like I was adopted by a family composed of a witty nerdy parent set, their twin tween fangirl daughters, and their brooding older artist son. And now I just found out they secretly fight crime, or something like that.

WANT/NEED.
My folder of things I want to build in my house is slowly becoming a book.
